LIVING IN THE INTERIM – MISSION STATEMENT

Living in the Interim is an international organisation based on the idea that human life is happening in the Interim, in an unfinished, forever-changing and renewing evolution. It is our committed intention to seek to give expression to and develop the potential that lies within these changing needs and opportunities. Therefore the name and motto: ‘Living in the Interim – In service to the future’.

THE MOTIVES

We – people of different cultures and nations worldwide – will no longer stand by in the face of the reality of our time. We realise that meeting a potential future for humanity requires new perceptions, values and behavioral sciences – as individuals and together.  Living in the Interim was established within this realisation and with a shared determination to find the ways of responding to and farming the future.

PURPOSES

  • Promoting international cooperation in exploring new values and developing conceptual models in different areas of life, towards the needs and the calling of our future.
  • Promotion of think tanks, new sciences, methodologies and researches in areas such as education, personal development, sustainability, innovation, leadership, well-being and other expressions coming from universal values, mindsets and attitudes, seeking natural human development and evolutionary ways with the establishment of supporting ecologies that are responsive to need.
  • Developing integrated concepts and frameworks and providing education which promotes the inherent potential of the human and the essence qualities of individuals, groups and organisations in a changing world.

MEANS OF APPLICATION

  • Developing new concepts for produce, processes and services that support the future needs of society.
  • Undertaking research into the challenges and needs of the future of human society and the different domains of their implication.
  • The support of projects, think tanks and other activities in response to these needs.
  • Conducting gatherings, meetings, retreats, classes, seminars and online courses.
  • The production and publication of documents and recordings through all available media.
